2022 ODeen Scholarship Winners

We are thrilled to announce the 2022 winners of our annual ODeen K Redman Memorial Scholarship.

“Every year we have amazing, high-achieving students who apply for the scholarship,” said Kyle Redman, Scholarship Committee Member, “and every year it seems to get increasingly more difficult to choose only four recipients.”

The 2022 ODeen K Redman Memorial Scholarship winners are Anna Knight from Butte County High School, Eric Estrada from Mackay High School, Justin Wittman from Malad High School, and Ethan Southern from Raft River High School.

After graduation, Anna Knight (Butte County) is going on to study Wildlife Biology at Northwest College in Wyoming. Eric Estrada (Mackay) is also headed to Wyoming to earn a certification in Welding from Western Welding Academy. Justin Wittman (Malad) is expanding on the skills he developed on his family farm and will be studying Diesel Mechanics at Idaho State University College of Technology. Ethan Southern (Raft River) has his sights set on Frank Phillips College in Texas where he plans to receive an associate degree in Science. After completing at Frank Phillips, Ethan would like to study Chiropractic Care at Oklahoma State University.

In keeping the memory and legacy of our great leader and innovator at the forefront, We established the ODeen K Redman Memorial Scholarship in 2014. ODeen was the President & CEO from 1965-2013. Since its inception, the memorial scholarship has awarded $45,000 total to graduating high school seniors in our serving areas.

We are happy to see the memory of ODeen live on through these students who will go on to do great things. Congratulations to this year’s recipients!
