Fiber Construction Update

Back in the spring, we announced our 2025 fiber construction projects—and since then, our crews have been hard at work. To date, we’ve buried 28 miles of mainline fiber (and more fiber-to-the-home connections on top of that). With construction continuing through December, that number will only keep climbing.

In Arco, our largest project, we forecasted about 15 miles of mainline fiber. That mainline is now complete. While only a few locations along the route will be hooked up this year, we’ll circle back to finish the remaining installs.

In Oneida County, we buried three miles of mainline fiber in Holbrook and connected five homes along the way. In Cassia County, the Heglar project wrapped up successfully with eight homes now enjoying fiber internet, while construction in Raft River is currently underway.

Overall, this year marked strong mainline growth—the backbone that brings fiber into neighborhoods and homes—along with steady progress in fiber-to-the-home connections, totaling 141.

We’re proud of the progress made since spring and excited to keep pushing forward through the end of the year. As always, if you’re interested in a fiber connection, please let us know at www.atcnet.net/fiber - every request helps us plan better for future builds.
