Summer 2021 Recap

As fall quickly approaches we wanted to take a moment and reflect on the incredible summer we have had as a company. From community service projects to employee and customer appreciation parties to major fiber construction projects, this summer has been eventful to say the least.

Beginning in June we kicked things off by awarding the ODeen K. Redman scholarship to four very deserving high school seniors. Thank you to everyone that applied and congrats, again, to the four seniors that were awarded scholarships. Next up was our Malad Customer Appreciation Day. What an event! Roping demonstrations, a balloon artist, live music, a photo booth, and great food. Need we say more? We are already counting down the days until our next appreciation day which will be announced next Spring. The last two weeks of June were a blur with the Albion Color run on June 24 and the Arco community service project on the 30th. And just like that June was over. July did not disappoint though!

Fourth of July festivities were a blast, as always. Our Albion float this year was spectacular, thank you to Jen Bradshaw. We finished July strong with our employee appreciation party at P-River Ranch in Heyburn. We are so happy we get to spend most of our days with these special people that are not only our colleagues but also our friends.

Speaking of employees, we have had some major work anniversary milestones this summer. Rob Hitt and Connie Redman have been with us 25 years and Misty Steele has been with us for a whopping 30 years!! Wow, are we lucky to have committed, hardworking employees!

Fast-forward to August 13 where we had the immense pleasure of attending and helping at Julie’s Clothes for Kids for the second year in a row. Julie’s Clothes for Kids is a nonprofit that helps hundreds of children in Minidoka and Cassia School Districts with back-to-school resources: clothes, backpacks, school supplies, and books.

On the construction front, it's been a busy season. We are constantly expanding our fiber network and this summer we had projects in Mackay, Malta, Portage, and Declo. Providing our customers with the best in internet technology is our number one goal.

Finally, none of this would be possible without our amazing customers. Thank you for choosing ATC. We value and appreciate your support and loyalty. Thank you to everyone for making summer 2021 one for the record books!! Fall here we come.
