Love Taking Photos? You’re In Good Company!

We live in a world where millions of pictures are uploaded to the internet every minute of every day. Sharing photos has become so commonplace, society often takes the gift of photography for granted. As you flick through photos from your last holiday, remember there was once a time when photography didn’t exist. A time when those precious moments couldn’t be captured, uploaded and shared.

At ATC, we recognize the power and privilege that comes with sharing photos online.  We’re proud to join millions of other organizations in the celebration of World Photo Day on August 19th.  The concept is simple: We believe photography has the ability to tell stories, and inspire a positive impact on our communities.

This week, we invite you to share a single photo with your friends on Facebook or Instagram.  Whether it’s a snapshot of everyday life or an incredible landscape shot, share YOUR world with the world. No matter who you are, or what equipment and skills you have, we encourage you to use the power of photography to help inspire positive change in those around you.

As a bonus, we’ll be giving away a $50 Sportsman’s Warehouse gift card to one lucky photographer this week! Simply tag your photo with #ATCPhotoDay, and you’ll automatically be entered into our drawing.  It’s really that easy!  At the end of the week, we’ll find every tagged photo and choose one random gift card winner.
